The next step I took was to return to FamilySearch to see if I could find any additional information about John and Lena. Using the advanced search for “John Hawkins” and spouse “Lena” returns a patron ordinance sheet that listed the couple. It states that John Hawkins married Lenah Dusenbury about 1784. She was listed as being “of Harrison, Westchester, New York.”2<\/sup><\/p>\n A search for Lenah and then a batch search in the record set her information was found in turns up more about the female line (again!).3<\/sup><\/p>\n Henry Dusenbury married Susannah Ogden.
